Complete Streets Guidelines public engagement
In June 2015, the City will officially kick-off a series of public events to engage Torontonians about the development of its Complete Streets Guidelines project.
Complete Streets Guidelines project overview
The Complete Streets Guidelines project is about developing a holistic approach for how we design our city streets, building on many of the City's existing policies, guidelines, and recent successful street design and construction projects. The project is being led by the City Planning and Transportation Services Divisions.
A Complete Streets design approach considers the needs of all people using the street − people who walk, bicycle, drive and take transit − and considers the needs of all ages and abilities. The approach also considers other street uses, like sidewalk cafés, street furniture, street trees, emergency services, utilities and many more.
Public Open House
There will be a public open house on Thursday, June 18th from 6-9pm at Central YMCA (90 Grosvenor Street).
