Grey Cup Festival in Roundhouse Park
This weekend, the Toronto Argonauts will host the 104th Grey Cup game in Toronto. A free outdoor festival, open to the public, will take place in Roundhouse Park (York Street and Bremner Boulevard) on Friday, November 24 and Saturday, November 25.
Everyone is invited to attend the Grey Cup Festival and enjoy the celebration of Canadian football. There will be free face painting and temporary tattoos, family-friendly activities and football challenges, and appearances by CFL team cheer squads and Argos players. Live programming and musical performances will run from 11 am to 10 pm on the outdoor stage. A free pancake breakfast with entertainment and line dancing will be provided by the Calgary Grey Cup Committee each day between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Neighbours of Roundhouse Park should see set-up for the Festival begin on Tuesday. This work is planned to take place after 7 am and before 11 pm each day. Beginning at noon on Thursday, the eastbound lane of Bremner Boulevard will be closed to make more room for Festival activities and the large number of people who are expected to attend.
