January 22 Public Meeting- New Waterfront Public Parks

I am co-hosting a community meeting with Councillor Troisi, Waterfront Toronto, and City of Toronto Parks Forestry & Recreation,  about the future of two parcels of future parkland: the large surface parking lot west of Rees Street and the land under the former York off-ramp from the Gardiner Expressway. Waterfront Toronto and the City of Toronto have partnered together to design and construct these new parks.

Please join us to help shape the future of these important public spaces on our waterfront!

Date: Monday, January 22
Location: Harbourfront Centre, Brigantine Room (235 Queens Quay W)
Drop in: Between 6 pm and 9 pm
Presentation: 7 pm

Drop-in hours from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. will offer a variety of facilitated activities to provide the opportunity for you to share your ideas and aspirations for making these two new park spaces spectacular, unique and full of new year-round experiences.

If you are unable to attend this community consultation, please consider sharing your feedback through this brief survey called “How to Make a Great Park.”
