Syrian Refugee Crisis - Info session on how to help

The recent events in Syria and around the world have brought refugee issues to the forefront of the Canadian consciousness. As this international humanitarian crisis escalates, it i paramount that Canadians come together, as we have in the past, to offer support and assistance.

Please join Councillor Joe Mihevc and me, as well as organizers from Lifeline Syria (www.lifelinesyria.ca), the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants (ocasi.org), and many other refugee settlement agencies at City Hall for a public information and action meeting with regards to the Syrian refugee crisis. Organizations will set-up display tables and present information on how Torontonians can become more involved in supporting families and individuals through sponsorship and community support. Please feel free to contact my office at councillor_cressy@toronto.ca, or by phone at 416-392-4044, with any questions you may have.
